Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return on non-perishable products, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Houseplants, trees, shrubs and perennials are exempt from being returned.
Additional non-returnable items:
- Gift cards (Virtual & Physical)
- Gift Boxes
- Subscriptions (that have already been sent out.)
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
- a ONE TIME partial refund if plant is damaged (Images of proof needed)
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
Pricing
Plants To Go reserves the right to change any price on the site without prior notice.
Refunds
All sales are final. Due to the fact that the majority of our products are perishable, Plants To Go does not accept returns. Non-living items such as fertilizers, planting soil, and other non-perishable garden items can be returned at the customer’s expense. Upon arrival, items will be reviewed and must be received in saleable condition. Once approved, we will issue a refund minus a 20% restocking fee. We do not refund shipping costs. Accepting the delivery of the product ensures the customer accepts Plants To Go’s terms and conditions of sale. In no circumstance will Plants To Go’s liability be greater than the cost paid for the order.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges

Plant Product Photos
In offering a wide variety of plants, all outdoor plant photos on the product pages are of mature or established landscape plants. All indoor plant photos on the product pages range in maturity and container size. All plants sold on Garden Goods Direct are younger plants and will ship in standard nursery pots unless otherwise specified.
Plant Purchase Info
Growth rates on our website are estimates based on historical data and assume optimum growing conditions. Growing plants requires a suitable site, a compatible environment, and care to prosper. These are conditions beyond our control. The customer agrees, by accepting these terms and conditions, that the images used on www.plantstogo.com product pages are representative of what the product will look like when it reaches maturity. Plants are shown in decorative containers for display purposes only. All plants are shipped in standard nursery containers unless otherwise specified.
Plant Dormancy
Most outdoor trees and plants enter dormancy or semi-dormancy in the fall through the spring (some perennials enter dormancy in late spring or early summer). Plants To Go will send out viable dormant plant materials early in the spring or late in the fall and winter seasons. These plants are completely healthy but may exhibit fewer leaves, discoloration, or complete leaf drop during this period. This is normal and completely essential to the plant’s health.
Shipping returns

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
