North of Eden’s Castile soap is utterly gentle, combining nourishing extra virgin olive oil with moisturizing goat milk. Our wonderful soaps are made of milk from our Nigerian Goats and lavender from our fields. We strive to find the best ingredients available, keeping our products handmade on the Eastern Shore.

Research shows that Goat’s milk is highly rich in vitamins, minerals, and proteins. Vitamin A slows down the aging of our skin and helps prevent brown spots and the thickening of the skin. Zinc contributes to the reconstruction of collagen fibers, encouraging moisture retention and assisting in maintaining your skin’s elasticity. Goat Milk contains over fifty essential nutrients, like vitamins A, B1, B6, B12, C, and E, minerals, citric acid, amino acids, unsaturated fatty acids, natural enzymbes, and a variety of other nutrients that nourish and revitalize dehydrated skin.

It is rich in Caprylic Acid and is known for soothing and rejuvenating skin. Goat milk also contains Lactic Acid, an alpha-hydroxy acid that removes dead skin cells and is believed to stimulate collagen and elastin production.

Ingredients:  Coconut oil, olive oil, castor oil, goat milk, sodium hydroxide, sodium lactate, lavender essential oil, lavender flowers, Brazilian purple clay, and kaolin clay. Bars are approximately 4-5 oz handmade on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.
